What you can expect

Led by an Indigenous Butchulla local guide, come along for an educational and memorable cultural experience and sunset cruise along the Great Sandy Strait in Hervey Bay. This 90 minute experience begins with a cruise along the bay aboard Milbi while enjoying fresh king prawns, canapés and a glass of champagne. As you cruise, listen to legends of the Butchulla people of Fraser Island. Walk in the footsteps of the Aboriginal tribe on Round Island as the sun is setting. Watch demonstrations of traditional fishing and food gathering techniques while listening to the soothing sounds of the didgeridoo. As you return onboard Milbi, view marine and coral gardens through the lit moon pool while you cruise back to Hervey Bay under the stars. The Milbi Sunset Cultural Experience departs at 4.30pm in winter and 5pm in summer.
